　　As the proverb goes, constant drops wear out the stone. Good habits help pave our way to success. However, during the cultivation of good habits we are frequently bewildered and baffled by temptations from the world around us. Only when we are alert and determined enough to resist these temptations can we take a right and unswerving road to success.

　　In our daily life, it is essential for us to be self-disciplined. A healthy lifestyle, which may consist of regular exercise and balanced diet, is what most people are pursuing in contemporary society. Yet many people cannot resist the coziness of staying in and temptation of tasty but fatty food, thus giving up half way cultivating healthy habits and getting decreasingly robust. In addition, our progress in academic performance depends on good habits. We must restrain ourselves from endless entertainment. Otherwise, distracted and indulged, we can never maintain a good learning habit, let alone achieve academic excellence.

　　In summary, good habits rely on strong hearts that are not disturbed by temptations. With persistence and perseverance, we are heading to success.

This first Santa Claus was still known as St. Nicholas, he did smoke a pipe, and fly around in a wagon without any reindeer, but he did not have his red suit or live at the North Pole, he did however bring presents to children every year.

　　星期五下午，我們503班排著整齊的隊伍來到大禮堂。一進大禮堂，只見里面人山人海，擠得水泄不通。我觀察四周，大禮堂到處可見五彩繽紛的帶子、牌子。售貨員正滔滔不絕地向顧客介紹著產(chǎn)品，好做出買賣。我好不容易走了進去，一件件玲朗滿目的商品，看得我眼花繚亂，挑選什么好呢？每一樣都是那么的好看、實用。我猶豫了一會兒，來到文具類的地方，左挑挑，右拿拿，終于選中了一件商品——學(xué)校的袋子。我舉起袋子，問售貨員：“How much is it?”(這個多少元)。

　　“Two yuan.”(2元)。售貨員馬上回答我。我拿出2張1元的學(xué)校專用的錢，遞給了她。她拿起一個紙袋給了我。后來我又挑選了許多東西，有紙杯、筆記本、筆。我高高興興地滿載而歸。

　　上課鈴一響，有同學(xué)心不甘情不愿地回到教室，有同學(xué)抱怨到：“啊！又是英語課！？”回到教室，我們便趴在桌子上靜靜地等老師。其實老師已經(jīng)站在門口了，有同學(xué)還在說話呢！老師的到來，也意味著開始上課了。

　　毛老師說，在上課之前先做一個小游戲。話音剛落，那些不情愿的同學(xué)一下子歡呼起來。老師讓同學(xué)們安靜下來，然后說了游戲規(guī)則：老師給每個小組取個“名字，”老師喊到哪一小組“的名字”，如有哪位同學(xué)是那組最后一個站起來的.話，就要接受懲罰--上臺表演節(jié)目。同學(xué)們聽完毛老師的話既興奮又緊張，生怕自己會接受懲罰。

　　輪到第一組的時候，只有兩位同學(xué)是最后站起來的，那就是董銳宇和蔡俊輝，他們倆一聽見要表演節(jié)目，都“啊……”地叫了起來，那個表情真是哭笑不得。他表演的是搞笑段子，董銳宇表演的是他當(dāng)?shù)氖且幻�交警，他的長官被他活活氣死，他做起事來那個叫笨的，逗得我們哈哈大笑。蔡俊輝表演的內(nèi)容是他自己被一只蚊子弄得團團轉(zhuǎn)，有的同學(xué)面無表情，有的同學(xué)已被他逗得前俯后仰了。一節(jié)英語課就這樣過去了一大半。

　　老師讓我們做的小游戲讓一節(jié)原本枯燥無味的英語課充滿歡聲笑語，這真是一堂生動有趣的英語課呀！
