People celebrate the holiday according to their beliefs and their religious denominations (命名). Christians commemorate Good Friday as the day that Jesus Christ died and Easter Sunday as the day that He was resurrected (復(fù)活). Protestant settlers brought the custom of a sunrise service, a religious gathering at dawn, to the United States. On Easter Sunday children wake up to find that the Easter Bunny has left them baskets of candy. He has also hidden the eggs that they decorated earlier that week. Children hunt for the eggs all around the house. Neighborhoods and organizations hold Easter egg hunts, and the child who finds the most eggs wins a prize. The Easter Bunny is a rabbit-spirit. Long ago, he was called the Easter Hare. Hares and rabbits have frequent multiple births so they became a symbol of fertility. The custom of an Easter egg hunt began because children believed that hares laid eggs in the grass. The Romans believed that All life comes from an egg. Christians consider eggs to be the seed of life and so they are symbolic of the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

記得有一次寫一號(hào)本作業(yè),我寫得很認(rèn)真,又讓媽媽來(lái)回幫我檢查了幾遍,覺(jué)得胸有成竹,沒(méi)有什么錯(cuò)了,于是第二天滿懷信心地把作業(yè)本交給了楊老師。只見(jiàn)楊老師拿著紅筆,一行一個(gè)勾,中間幾乎沒(méi)有什么停頓,我想:楊老師改作業(yè)可真快呀!這時(shí),楊老師突然停住了筆,我想:哎呀,是不是什么地方有錯(cuò)了,但不會(huì)呀,我和媽媽昨天明明查了好幾遍,不應(yīng)該有錯(cuò)呀!只見(jiàn)楊老師在一個(gè)單詞上畫了一個(gè)圈,然后把本子遞給我說(shuō):“嗯,不錯(cuò),只錯(cuò)了一個(gè),有進(jìn)步!”我拿回本子,然后對(duì)著書一看,哎呀,兩個(gè)字母顛倒了,真錯(cuò)了,楊老師的“火眼金睛”可真厲害!

我第一次見(jiàn)到她是在20xx年秋,那年開學(xué),我升入三年級(jí)。新學(xué)年第一天的英語(yǔ)課上,我跟她第一次見(jiàn)面。朱老師個(gè)子不高,皮膚也不夠白。她留著一頭短發(fā),戴著一副眼鏡。
她每次一進(jìn)教室,動(dòng)作都是那么利落。黑板擦完,緊接著快速寫好板書,準(zhǔn)備上課。她的字是那樣的蒼勁有力,拿起粉筆,只聽(tīng)見(jiàn)一陣“咚咚咚”敲擊黑板的聲音。粉筆在她的手中好像被施了魔法似的 ,立即就飛舞起來(lái)。三兩下,一排整齊而均勻的英語(yǔ)就出現(xiàn)在我的眼前。

國(guó)慶節(jié)回校的第一天,我一共錯(cuò)了兩處,字也寫得難看。全班就五個(gè)人全隊(duì),其中就袁嘉潤(rùn)一個(gè)人的字寫得還可以,更別說(shuō)我們錯(cuò)的人了。朱老師大發(fā)雷霆,下令除袁嘉潤(rùn)外其他人都重寫。我心想:重 寫是對(duì)的,因?yàn)槲壹倨诶镓澩妫鳂I(yè)草草了事。拿到作業(yè)本,我一筆一劃認(rèn)真重寫。后來(lái),我去批的時(shí)候,朱老師拉長(zhǎng)了臉,生氣地說(shuō):“啊,連你這個(gè)班長(zhǎng)七天在家都不會(huì)做作業(yè)了,那別人就更不用 說(shuō)了!不像話!”我聽(tīng)了臉紅得像一只大蘋果,不禁羞愧得低下了頭,我暗暗下定決心不再犯同樣的錯(cuò)誤。
朱老師就是這么一個(gè)嚴(yán)格的老師,正是因?yàn)樗膰?yán)格,煉就了我現(xiàn)在的自覺(jué)!
