一到寒暑假，我就會去外婆家，和小表哥玩。我最喜歡的是那里的井水和河水。河水清澈見底，井水十分清涼，可以直接飲用。
可惜，今年，我回到外婆家，發(fā)現(xiàn)井水和河水已經(jīng)完全變樣了：河面上飄著一大堆的垃圾，有透明的、有白色的、有紅色的；還有一些樹葉、鴨毛、雞毛也浮在河面上可涼地呻吟著；河底的垃圾更是讓我受不了：不知從哪里來的糞便，岸邊的小石頭上長滿了青苔。
小表哥閑著無事時，會拿把掃帚把一只雞趕到水里。于是，雞身上的灰塵全掉到水里。
晚上放煙花的時候，小表哥把放完后還在發(fā)熱的沖天泡扔到河里，這樣不知毒死了多少小魚，還給周圍的環(huán)境帶來了很大的污染。
污染過的河水也會污染到干凈的井水。這樣，干凈的井水就變得惡心，不能再喝了。

我家門前有一條清澈見底的小河，里面有好多小魚，小蝦，水草，河水不深，夏天可以去河里游泳，洗衣服，孩子們可以打水仗，周圍有好多房子倒映在水中，十分美麗，使人看了就舒服。
以前我住在這里時，每天都快快樂樂的，有這條河水陪伴我，多么舒服啊!
幾年之后，這里的小魚不見了，水草死了，小蝦也已經(jīng)不見了蹤影。河水開始漸漸變得渾濁，也有了幾分臭味。因此，人們開始討厭這條河，漸漸離它遠去了。河對岸的老奶奶，整天嘆著氣，說:‘‘哎，高樓倒是建起來了，可這小河卻變得臟兮兮的，現(xiàn)在的社會啊!”
我們科學(xué)研究小組通過考察，發(fā)現(xiàn)在小河附近有家工廠，工廠每天排放了很多污水。倒置小河變臟。我們與那座工廠的老板反復(fù)商量了好多次，老板終于決定買一個污水處理器，然后，我們在小河邊的土壤上插上這樣一塊木牌:保護小河，人人有責(zé)！
我相信，有了這些措施后，那條小河將會和以前一樣清澈，那樣美麗，自然。以前不見蹤影的小魚小蝦都回來了，夏天有可以游泳了，水草又活過來了，這條小河又可以陪伴著我。讓我每天都十分快樂。

我的老家在江西省新建縣的一個小山村里。
以前，我們老家很窮，走著泥巴小路，住著木頭小屋，可生活得十分開心。因為那里山青水秀、鳥語花香，美麗極了。而且，那還有一條清澈見底的小溪。那里春夏秋冬都很美麗，不過最美的'還是夏天。小孩子都跑到那條小溪里游泳、玩耍，里面的小魚也跟著嬉戲。大人們在小溪里洗衣服、在大樹底下聊天、乘涼。
又過了幾年，我再次來到我的老家，那完全變了，木頭小屋變成了一棟棟高樓，聽奶奶說，現(xiàn)在人們都富裕了，砍下樹木做成了一棟棟高樓。我連忙向小溪邊跑去，看見那條小溪已經(jīng)變成了“垃圾場”，上面漂著瓶子、果皮、廢紙和雜物等，再看看曾經(jīng)長著大樹的地方，已經(jīng)變成一片片裸露的土地。我多么希望時間能倒流，讓那些人們保護環(huán)境，不到處扔垃圾，亂砍樹木。
唉！什么時候才能變成我夢想中的家鄉(xiāng)啊！

Environmental problems are becoming more and more serious all over the world. For example, cars have made the air unhealthy for people to breathe and poisonous gas is given off by factories. Trees on the hills have been cut down and waste water is being poured continuously into rivers.Furthermore, wherever we go today, we can find rubbish carelessly disposed. Pollution is, in fact, threatening our existence.
全世界的環(huán)境問題變得越來越嚴(yán)重。例如汽車污染的空氣影響了人們的呼吸，工廠釋放污染的氣體，山上的樹木被砍伐，污水不斷被排人河里。另外，無論我們走到哪里，到處可見隨意丟棄的垃圾。事實上，污染正威脅我們的生存。
The earth is our home and we have the duty to take care of it for ourselves and for our later generations. Fortunately, more and more people have realized these problems. Measures have been taken to cope with these problems by the government. Laws have been passed to stop pollution. I hope the problem will be solved in the near future and our home will become better and better.
地球是我們的家園，我們有責(zé)任為我們自己和我們的后代去照顧好它。慶幸的是，愈來愈多的人們已經(jīng)意識到這些問題。政府已經(jīng)采取了很多措施去解決這些問題，法律已被通過以制止污染。我希望這些問題在不遠的將來能得到解決，我們的家園變得越來越好。

這個數(shù)目僅顯示一天一千克的廢氣排放量和僅計算中國的廢氣排放情況。工廠的污染更嚴(yán)重，水和空氣都要被污染。大量的廢水排入大海和河流之中，以致大量的魚蝦、水中植物死亡和大量的水資源被污染.........我們地球上的資源也在一天一天的減少。大量可回收的品中只有3%是被回收并再生的。許多白色垃圾造成了白色污染。我心中的家園是和以前差不多的，可是這是很難挽回的。為了我么大家共同生活了幾千萬年的藍色星球?——地球的美好未來而努力吧!

Air pollution is one of the major problems of the modern world.
A great deal of energy is needed to run the factories of modern industrial nations. Automobile, trains, planes and busses need energy, too.
Nearly all of this energy is produced by burning fuels. The burning produces wastes, some of which remain in the air, causing air pollution.
Scientists are finding ways to stop air pollution especially in big industrial areas and densely-populated cities.
They are studying new ways of generating electricity that may be less damaging to the environment. In the meantime, many power plants are being modernized to give off less polluted material.
Also, engineers try to design and locate new power plants to do minimum damage to the environment.
However, it may be that we still have a long way to go before we have a "clean" world.
Nearly all of the countries are trying hard to prevent and control air pollution. There indeed seems to be no end to tasks that environmentalists will be required to do.
People will continually find new ways to control pollution.

Too many cars have caused a lot of serious problems in our world. Besides congestion, accidents and fast fuel consumption, cars are responsible for a good part of air pollution in big cities.
One possible solution is to design and develop clean cars and clean fuels. In Shanghai, some of the public buses begin to run on natural gas, which does not give off as much carbon dioxide as petrol. Another solution is to develop modern public transportation systems and restrict the use of private cars. If the price of petrol rises constantly and the public vehicles are efficient and convenient enough, most people will not buy private cars. Thus, the total number of cars in big cities will reduce greatly.
On the whole, the elimination of air pollution needs the collective efforts from the government, the public and the environmentalists.

However, we can easily see the water pollution and others in spots, why does the effect of our acts upon it do littleThere are two reasons. Tourists threw rubbish partly because they are lacking the sense of spots’ protection, and partly because there is no complete legal system, and the other is that some people have no brevity to stop polluters.It is the dawn of comprehensive construction of economy, politics, culture, society and ecological civilization, so we should pay more attention to spots’ protection. We should , first, complete our legal system and principle of rewards and punishments. Besides, more medical mental counseling should be given to tourists. The spots, I sure, will get better, however, it needs a marathon effort and needs persistence and insistence.
