　　School had been very easy for me in the beginning. I had been the usual routine---show up for school, complete assignments, take tests, get grades. And that was usually straight A’s. I thought school was that easy.

　　Suddenly middle school began. Sure, I was a top student for six years, why would it be any harder? It was; the bad mark in a pop quiz deeply humbled me.

　　I became very resentful and angry about my situation. I felt so depressed for feeling inferior.

　　One winter day we had a heavy snow. Mother took me for a long walk. “ See those elm trees,” she said. “ The branches are broken. The trees may die. But look at those pine trees! They are not hurt by the snow.” “ When they have more snow than they can hold, they lower the branches and let the snow slip away. The next morning they are as good as ever.”

　　“There are just two kinds of trees in the world: the stubborn and the wise. Be like a pine tree. Bear what you can, then let the load slide off. You will move forward lightly.”

　　Yes, “Be like a pine tree. Bear what you can! ” Shake off resentment, angry and depression. We will have a bright future.

　　大家好！

　　去年有一件事深深地觸動(dòng)了我。有一天我感冒了，很嚴(yán)重。我嘶啞著嗓子去給學(xué)生上課，那天恰巧我穿了件新衣。剛走進(jìn)教室，初中七年級(jí)的學(xué)生們就圍了上來(lái)大呼小叫地說(shuō)：“miss zhu beaitiful beaitiful，miss zhu！”我剛張開嘴讓他們安靜下來(lái)，突然有個(gè)聲音大聲地說(shuō)：“不要吵了！老師的嗓子啞了！老師的嗓子都啞了！”頓時(shí)整個(gè)教室安靜了下來(lái)，學(xué)生們都在自己的座位上端正地坐好，安靜地看著我。

　　當(dāng)我張開嘴讓他們跟著我念單詞時(shí)又有同學(xué)舉手提議：“老師，我們今天學(xué)唱英文歌吧！我們能自己跟著磁帶學(xué)，那樣你的嗓子會(huì)好得快些，媽媽說(shuō)嗓子啞了要少說(shuō)話！”多懂事的.孩子，只知他們平時(shí)愛惹我生氣，不知他們竟也知道關(guān)心我！下課了，孩子們硬要把剝好的橘子塞進(jìn)我的嘴里，說(shuō)：“老師吃了它吧！吃了你的嗓子就會(huì)好了！”在那一刻我感受到了三十多顆幼小的心靈對(duì)我的撫慰，感受到了他們對(duì)我的理解和支持，作為一名幼兒教師我心甘情愿了！

　　去年十二月，我要教四個(gè)班的英語(yǔ)、要忙于迎接期末考試、要為教師文藝匯演緊張地排練、要為圣誕節(jié)英語(yǔ)晚會(huì)準(zhǔn)備初中七年級(jí)的英語(yǔ)節(jié)目。初中生懂的英語(yǔ)比較少，我沒法將臺(tái)詞寫下來(lái)讓他們自己去背，只能嘴對(duì)嘴的一字一詞地教。緊張的排練和不定時(shí)的加班幾乎壓垮了我，我真想甩手不干了。

　　有一天幾遍排練下來(lái)后孩子們已經(jīng)練得氣喘吁吁了，我說(shuō)：“你們累了，就早點(diǎn)休息吧！”可是沒有一個(gè)孩子離開我，他們圍在我身邊仰著小臉懇切地說(shuō)：“老師，咱們?cè)倬氁粫?huì)兒吧！我們不累！真的，我們不怕累！”看著孩子們汗津津的小臉，我突然感到自己是那么的軟弱。我說(shuō)，你們不怕，老師也不怕，咱們一起練。排練結(jié)束后，我和孩子們一起笑著鬧著，心里感受到一種從未有過(guò)的輕松，我知道是孩子們幫助了我，鼓舞了我。當(dāng)我在臺(tái)下看著他們成功的表演時(shí)，淚水再也忍不住地流了下來(lái)，作為一名人民教師愛的奉獻(xiàn)是無(wú)盡的。

And most importantly, it is a new beginning for your life, a beginning where you are going to make new desicisions, take new actions, make new friends, and take your life to a totally unprecedented level! You know all this is real as long as you are confident,passionate and committed! And you are confident, you are passionate, you are committed!

　　You will no longer fear making new sounds, showing new facial expressions, using your body in new ways,approaching new people, and asking new questions. You will live every single day of your life with absolute passion, and you will show your passion through the words you speak and the actions you take. You will focus all your time and effort on the most important goals of your life. You will never succumb to challenges of hardships. You will never waver in your pursuit of excellence. 　　The remarkable thing is we have a choice every day, regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day.
